Castle East
Kasteel Oost is an ochre-colored Manor House on the Geul near Valkenburg. With a main building, two side wings, a courtyard, detached coach house and several smaller buildings in the surrounding gardens, this national monument is a jewel in the green landscape. The history of the castle dates back as far as the second half of the sixteenth century.
Valkenburg’s most iconic building is now getting a new and special interpretation to shine and shine again. Starting in October, The Wedding Castle, the second branch of Koonings, will open to the public.
