Yes – we have an atelier at both of our locations, where talented and passionate seamstresses will tailor your gown to your specific wishes. This is handcrafted, and as such, it involves individual costs. Your stylist will be happy to inform you about the corresponding prices. However, the most important thing to remember is that there are no limits to your wishes! Want to remove the sleeves, tailor the dress to fit your curves, shorten it, or add more lace and sparkle? All of that is possible with us.

At Koonings The Wedding Castle, every bride receives true VIP treatment during her appointment. After selecting your desired fitting salon in the castle, your personal stylist will assist you in finding your wedding dress. You and your entourage will also enjoy delicious snacks and Prosecco. For your fitting appointment, there is a one-time fee ranging from €100 to a maximum of €250. The exact prices can be found in the appointment planner.

Important to know: If you purchase your wedding dress from us at Koonings The Wedding Castle, the remaining amount, excluding €50, will be credited as a discount on your dress.

Starting in the first half of 2025, you can find what you’re looking for at Koonings The Wedding Castle in the east wing of the castle.
1st half 2025: Ballroom In the east wing of the castle there is also a hall available for your festivities.
2nd half 2025: Hotel In the west wing of the palace, 12 hotel rooms in elegant baroque style and a luxurious bridal suite offer room to dream.
2nd half 2025: Orangery A glass orangery will be built between the palace and the east wing on the garden side.
This magnificent garden house will not only house another restaurant, but will also serve as an event venue for your festivities in the future.

The castle is located at the beginning of the castle route in Valkenburg and only 900 meters from the city center. The entrance on Oosterweg is marked by a wrought-iron gate guarded by two stone lions. Beyond is the castle’s inviting forecourt. Straight ahead is the entrance to the castle, which can be reached by a stone staircase and leads you directly to the bridal store.

Right now you will find public parking spots across from the Castle in the East Road.
We are working on the fact that in the future you will also be able to use our own large parking spot where we will also place chargers for electric cars.

Yes, you can park for free in our customer parking lot directly in front of the Wedding Palace. Enter the address Dukaat 5a, 5751 PW Deurne into your navigation system and follow the directions to the enchanting white wrought-iron gate, which will open automatically for you.

Follow the path to the wishing well where the swan pair swims, and find a suitable parking spot from which you can easily access the main entrance of Koonings The Wedding Palace.

We have two electric charging stations for the electric car.
These are located on the side of the building near the entrance to Koonings Beauty & Hair.

Because delivery times of wedding gowns vary, we recommend that you schedule your first appointment with us no later than 8 months before your wedding date.

We have our own workshop where we can have your wedding dress altered to your specifications.
You will discuss the additional costs for this personally with your stylist.

There is no set rule on this question, as it depends on many factors.
On average, a bride takes 4 people as her entourage.
For a groom, the average is 2-3 people.
From experience, we know that the more people you bring, the more difficult it often becomes for yourself.
After all, everyone has an opinion and too many opinions often leads to confusion.
If you do want to bring more people, this is no problem.
We would like you to mention this when you make your appointment, so we can take this into account when planning the fitting rooms.

First hang the dress and veil out to air.
Often the wrinkles will recover by themselves.
You can also steam a little with your iron or a steamer, but always do this from a distance and make sure the hot sole of the iron does not touch the veil and/or dress.
