Of course, you want to look your best on your wedding day. You choose your wedding dress, shoes, and accessories carefully. The right bridal hairstyle is just as important. Your wedding look is only complete when your bridal hairstyle fits perfectly with your wedding dress and style. Just like in bridal fashion, there are also trends in bridal hairstyles. In this blog, you can read all about the trends of 2023.
The low bun
We also see it in bridal fashion: a classic and minimalist look is a huge trend. This bridal hairstyle is perfect for this look. We have seen a low updo for years, but where we first mainly saw the soft updo with loose tufts, the low bun can now be friendly and sleek. This timeless hairstyle beautifully accentuates your neck and is perfect to combine with a beautiful veil or hair jewelry. We think jewelry with pearls, in particular, fits this look beautifully. Are you a bride who has fallen for a classic, smooth dress without many applications? This hairstyle also takes no attention away from you or your wedding dress. A low, tight bun compliments the entire look—a must-do for the classy bride.
Hollywood waves
Do you want to wear your hair down during your wedding? Then this hairstyle is the way to do that. Hollywood waves are polished, wavy locks that are not to be confused with beachy waves that fall much looser and wilder. With Hollywood waves, your hair is curled in the same direction and combed out so the locks fall together perfectly. This look can be combined well with different styles of wedding dresses. Like the low bun, it goes well with a minimalist, classic dress but also with a romantic lace dress or a glamorous dress full of beads; this bridal hairstyle looks fantastic! As a bride, the Hollywood waves give you a feminine, charming look. This haircut can also be styled with a beautiful hair jewel that you can use to pin your hair back a bit on one side.
Half updo
Can you call something a trend when it is timeless? We don’t know very well. But we know that the half-updo is still very popular. Next wedding season, we will also see many brides getting married with a hairstyle that is half up, and the other half falls nicely loose. The great thing about this hairstyle is that the possibilities are endless. You can wear a beautiful bohemian haircut with loose curls or a sleek look. The art is in how the hair is put up. A beautiful bun, twist, or with beautiful braids: everything is possible. Of course, a half updo can also be styled very nicely with, for example, hair jewelry or flowers.
Statement hair jewelry
Bows, pearls, headbands, pins: if you think that you can only wear a veil in your hair as a bride, then you are wrong. We see that the hair jewelry for the modern bride can be more and more exuberant. A wreath full of pearls and stones or a large tulle bow, nothing is too crazy! This trend is especially significant for brides with short hair. With short hair, the possibilities in terms of hairstyle are limited, but with a beautiful hair jewel, you can still create an impressive bridal look. What is also lovely with a hair jewel is that you can easily change your look halfway through your wedding day. During the ceremony, you wear a veil and at the party, you exchange the cover with a beautiful hairpiece.
Whether you want to follow a trend or not, it is, of course, about feeling
you’re most beautiful on your wedding day.
We hope that this blog has been able to inspire you. Did you know that we have our hair salon within the walls of our wedding palace? Our hair stylists are experts in bridal hairstyles. If you have found the wedding dress of your dreams at Koonings, you can also make an appointment here for a test haircut to have a good idea of the overall picture immediately. You will find the most beautiful hair jewelry and veils in our large accessories department. In short: whichever bridal hairstyle you go for, you can complete your wedding look here.
First Holy Communion is a special day for your son or daughter. A day never to be forgotten. Of course, this also requires an unforgettable Communion dress or Communion suit. With a beautiful collection of children’s clothes and a workshop where your own designs can be realised, we make your children’s dreams come true.
The kids collection
In our wedding palace, we have an entire department with the most beautiful children’s clothes. From sweet, white dresses and cool suits to the most impressive ball gowns and custom-made costumes. We have a beautiful permanent collection in the shop but in addition, nothing is impossible at Koonings and we also make communion clothes completely custom-made and to the wishes of the communion bride.
From sketch to communion dress
Within team Koonings, Annemarie is one of the specialists in children’s clothing. Her talent lies mainly in creating the most beautiful and impressive communion dresses. Together with Mrs Koonings, she makes every communicant’s dreams come true. Annemarie says: “It really is a dream job for me to design and make the dress of their dreams for the communicants. Nothing is too crazy. In the 23 years that I have been working here, I have been able to design many communion dresses. It is very special to be involved in such an important day.” Annemarie designs and makes the communion dress entirely according to your wishes, from the drawing to the last detail.
Custom made communion dresses
Making a custom-made communion dress is, of course, a time-consuming process. It is therefore important to make an appointment about six months before the communion. During the first appointment, the communicant and her parents will meet with Annemarie to discuss the wishes for the dress. In our children’s department there are a number of beautiful dresses designed and made by Koonings for inspiration. Of course, the communicant can also try these on to determine the silhouette of the dress as well. An important part because the basis for the dress has to be right. Trying on a dress quickly gives an idea of the wishes and what looks good on the communicant. All wishes will be written down and some first quick sketches will be made so Annemarie can also show that she understands what the wishes for the dress are. During this process, some fabrics and other materials may also be picked up to make the design even more tangible.
A complete look
The aim is to have the design for the dress as complete as possible after the first appointment. Accessories such as hair jewellery, gloves, bags and shoes can also be made in the style of the dress.
When the image of the communion dress is complete, the communicant’s measurements are taken. Growth is always taken into account. After this, our workshop can start working on the communion dress.
The process is exactly the same as when buying a wedding dress. The communicant comes in for a fitting appointment to get the dress perfectly tailored. At a third appointment, the dress is fitted one last time and any final adjustments are made, after which the dress can be taken home.
Putting on a communion dress like this can be quite a challenge. So, as an extra service, Annemarie or her colleagues can also come and help the communicant get dressed on the day of the communion.
Of course, we also have beautiful, cool communion clothes for boys in our collection. But here too: we can tailor everything to your wishes and requirements. Do father and son want to wear the same suit on the day of communion? Then we will make a custom-made communion suit in the same colours and fabrics as father’s suit. The boys’ communion clothes can also be styled to perfection with ties, pocket squares and other accessories.
Want to know and see even more of our communion clothes? All the information and inspiration can be found on this page!
Whether you are looking for communion clothes from our collection or would like to have something custom-made. Our stylists and designers will be happy to receive you. You can easily make an appointment via our website.
Finally, the moment has arrived: you are getting married and you get to look for the wedding dress of your dreams. Buying a wedding dress is a bit different from getting a new pair of jeans. We understand that you have a lot to deal with and that you have a lot of questions before that first appointment. In this blog, we are going to explain as much as we can!
Timing is everything!
Surely one of the most frequently asked questions is, “How long in advance should I start picking out my wedding dress?” As we wrote earlier, picking out a wedding dress is a bit different from going out to buy a new pair of jeans. When you succeed for your wedding dress, you don’t walk out of the shop with it right away. A lot has to be done before and after your “Yes to the dress” to make your dress perfect for the big day.
We therefore recommend making your first appointment 9 to 12 months before your wedding. It could be that your wedding dress has a delivery time of 6 to 7 months. This varies per brand. After that, your wedding dress will have to be made to measure. This is done in our own workshop and can also take up to 3 months. Of course, we want you to experience this special period without stress. So make your first appointment on time and we will make sure you can shine in a beautiful, perfectly fitting wedding dress. Have you made an appointment but can’t make it for whatever reason? Cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance so that we can adjust our planning accordingly.
The first appointment
When you visit our wedding palace for your first appointment, you will be welcomed by our hostesses in the main hall where you and your entourage can take a seat. Your personal stylist will introduce herself and take you to a spacious dressing room where your entourage can take a seat on the sofa. This is the time to discuss your wishes and budget with the stylist. Perhaps you have already made a mood board or have photos of some wedding dresses you like. This helps our stylists enormously in finding the wedding dresses that suit you. Our stylists know the collection and the shop like the back of their hand. They know exactly where to find the right wedding dresses and are happy to take you into the shop to look for the dresses you want to try on together. Nice to know: an average appointment lasts 2 hours and most brides make their choice after trying on 3 to 8 different wedding dresses. You may try on as many wedding dresses as you want, but remember that trying on many wedding dresses does not always make the choice easier. What if you can’t make your choice right away that first time? Then, of course, you are always welcome to make another appointment later. In that case, the stylist can make a note of which wedding dresses you tried on and which one you might be unsure about so that her colleague can help you as much as possible next time.
Your entourage
Of course, your appointment is not complete without the people who are important to you. You want to share this special moment and some support in choosing your wedding dress is very nice. On average, a bride takes about 4 people with her as her entourage. If you want to bring more people, that is of course no problem at all! Everyone is welcome with us. In our experience, however, a large entourage does not always make your choice easier. After all, many people mean many opinions. When making your appointment, you can indicate how many people you will bring along. We appreciate this so that we can take this into account when planning the fitting rooms.
Don’t forget…
…to enjoy. Because for your first appointment, you don’t need to bring anything else but your entourage. We take care of the shoes, undergarments and any other accessories. We have everything to complete your bridal look. If you already have some accessories you would like to wear on your wedding day, it is of course nice if you bring them along. Think of your mother’s veil or that beautiful hair ornament you can borrow from a friend. Our stylists also appreciate it if you can show them some photos of dresses you like. So in preparation for your first appointment, you can start collecting them. Let the fun begin! You can see an indication of the dresses in our collection on this page.
The ultimate V.I.P. experience
We provide the ultimate bridal experience for every bride but if you want to make the experience even more special now, treat yourself to our V.I.P. package. Especially if you bring a large entourage, our V.I.P. lounge offers plenty of space. The V.I.P. lounge is a separate, luxurious room. Your fitting appointment will be between the most beautiful and exclusive dresses and you will show off the wedding dresses you are trying on on a real catwalk. Meanwhile, you and your entourage enjoy the most delicious snacks and champagne. You can book this upgrade via our appointments page. Would you like to know more about our V.I.P. package? Then take a look at this page.
Are you ready to make your first fitting appointment yet?
We welcome you and hope to give you an experience you will never forget.
First of all: congratulations! Finally, your love asked you the big question and ofcourse you said “YES”! We can imagine that after this beautiful moment, all sorts of things are already running through your mind very quickly. We are here to help you with the first steps after the marriage proposal. Relax, enjoy and get inspired!
Enjoy this moment!
Perhaps the most important part of being engaged: enjoy the moment! A very fun but also busy period awaits you. So take your time to enjoy this romantic occasion. For you, “enjoying the moment” might also include sharing the good news with friends and family. Share the joy! Decide together in advance how you want to let everyone know that you are engaged. Need some inspiration? The photos below are easy to make and fun to send around or share on your social media. Let the anticipation begin!
Pick the date
You have probably been asked a few times after the announcement of your engagement, “Do you already have a date”? Maybe there is a special day that has a lot of meaning for you or you already knew right away what your wedding date will be. But if you still can’t quite decide on a date so soon after the engagement, at least start thinking about when you want to get married. Organising a wedding can take from 8 months to a year, so it’s good to take that into account.
The wedding location
For a lot of couples, this is one of the most difficult decisions when it comes to the wedding day: where do you get married? After all, the venue is an important foundation of your wedding day. Whether you go for a chic castle wedding, a bohemian outdoor wedding or an urban city wedding, your taste will be best served at a location that fits the overall picture of your wedding. Not quite decided yet? Start looking for wedding venues that appeal to you both. Make two lists and see where the similarities are. Once you have found a venue, contact them as soon as possible to book a day. If you have chosen a date, you can secure it right away. But if you only have a month or period in mind, you may want to consult with the wedding venue to find a suitable date.
Say yes to the dress
Yes, this is probably the thing you as a bride have been dreaming about the longest: the wedding dress! You might think that your outfits do not have to be at the top of your list, but we are here to tell you that besides the date and the venue, finding a wedding dress cannot wait too long. Currently, we recommend that you start choosing your wedding dress 9 to 12 months before your wedding day. A wedding dress can take up to 6 to 7 months to be delivered. Then, of course, the wedding dress needs to be altered perfectly for you and you should allow around 3 months for this too. In short: make your dream come true as soon as possible and start looking for the wedding dress that suits you perfectly. We look forward to welcoming you to our wedding palace. Did you know that men can also come to us for a wedding suit? If you come to us for your wedding dress, we can also advise your husband to be perfectly matched to the wedding dress. Of course, your to-do list for the wedding will get a lot longer. There is so much more to arrange after the wedding date, wedding venue and your outfits. But we hope this blog has already helped you a little bit on your way.
Don’t forget to enjoy and make the preparations as unforgettable as your wedding day itself.
Are you inspired and motivated right now? Then make an appointment right away. Our stylists are ready to help you find the perfect wedding dress or wedding suit.
70’s & 80’s hair
70s & 80s hair, we love it! You see it everywhere, all trends mentioned in this blog are inspired by this era. What you see a lot of now are chunky waves. The full fringes, the middle parting and the curtain bangs that go with it are also part of the 70s and 80s image. Of course, what you cannot forget are the bob and shaggy hair!
The Curtain bang is a real comeback and stays the trend in 2021!
Celebrities and BNérs have been rocking this look across the red carpet, on television and social media for some time now. The curtain bang is ideal for degende who want something different but are afraid to go completely ‘out of the box’.
Curtain bangs are fringes that are cut in layers so that the fringes fall along your face like a curtain. It is a subtle and playful change that allows you to add a bit more slack and whimsy to your face. It can give sleek hair a real boost by creating more volume and can nicely accentuate the shape of the head. Fun highlights in the tufts add another touch.
Shaggy hair
The shag haircut is a well-known hairstyle that was especially popular in the 70s and 80s. This robust hair style from the flower power era gives you a new and cool look. This is mainly due to the layers, protruding tips and volume that characterise this style. So if you don’t have much time in the morning, or want to take care of your hair then this ‘i just got ou of bed look’ is super suitable for you! It also doesn’t matter if you have thick, thin, curly or straight hair, as this hairstyle is accessible to all hair types. In any case, we are fans of it!
Meanwhile, the hairdressers have been closed for a while, so currently we are very much looking forward to the next appointments. Are you planning to get your hair coloured? Then brace yourself for the necessary dose of inspiration, because below are the hair colour trends of 2021.
When we look at the trends for 2021, two things stand out. On the one hand, you have a lot of natural colours that require low maintenance. Over the past year, as everyone knows, many hairdressing appointments have fallen through and therefore many people are opting for a more natural hair colour.
And then you have the opposite, in recent months people also experimented a lot with their hair colour because they had to do everything themselves. Thus, some brighter and more striking shades are also doing well.
Below is a list of this year’s trends!
Butter blonde and ice blonde
For blondes, 2021 will be a banner year as they have a choice of hair colours, and butter blonde is already one of them. This soft blonde colour suits almost everyone and is relatively easy to keep up. During summer, you can always get some highlights for a slightly brighter effect.
The lighter the better? Then we have good news, because ice blonde is a real trend that is sure to stay this year. Great for people who already have naturally blonde hair. This gives you a very nice overflow, because at the bottom the hair may be lighter. Tip: Be sure to use a silver shampoo regularly to prevent the hair from taking on a yellow glow.
Striking hightlights and balayage 2.0
In the 1990s, striking highlights were already very popular and in 2021, this trend is making a real comeback. The more daring choose shades that contrast with each other, but even if you want to stay closer to your own hair colour, you can definitely give this trend a try.
Another great thing about this trend is balayage 2.0. This trend involves colouring the roots of your hair slightly darker, or if your hair is already quite dark you can just keep your own hair colour. Combine the darker roots with lighter highlights for extra contrast. Caramel shades also work well here. This technique gives your cut more depth and dimension, making your hair stand out beautifully.
Copper and warm blonde
Are you a redhead or have you always wanted to try red hair? Then copper shades are totally made for you. In this, of course, you can also combine different shades, from dark to light. Working with a balayage and/or haighlights is also a great option. It is also easy to maintain. In fact, it requires less maintenance than a cool blonde, or dark red colour.
Pastel shades
More striking shades are in and we owe this mainly to the lockdown. Many people experimented a lot with different pastel shades at home and we will see these a lot next year. Especially soft shades like pale pink or purple are doing well. The only downside is that brightly coloured shades tend to fade quickly so that is why we always recommend bringing a personalised colour conditioner for at home. We use FAB PRO from EVO for this, with this we can make up any colours you want for yourself.
Moneypiece
The moneypiece is a trend we love! This trend involves lightening the contours of the hair around your face. The money piece comes from the 1990s when chunky highlights were a big trend. The effect is easy to see because it frames your face, so to speak. Besides, this trend suits almost everyone because you can decide how intense you would like the result.
But you can also apply this trend very naturally, for example in combination with highlights or a balayage. This gives you a sunkissed effect. For the really daring, you can also choose to add a bright or pastel shade, giving it another dimension.
Coffee and cappuccino shades
For the ladies who like to keep their hair a bit darker, coffee and cappuccino shades are very nice! You can choose to make it an even colour, for example dark brown towards black, like coffee. Or to give it an extra touch you can add a nice cappuccino shade, for example as a money piece or highlights. In any case, we love this colour as it goes with a lot of skin tones!
Do you want to get married in 2021? We list some of the benefits for you in this blog.
Unfortunately, we too do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict what the wedding season will look like in 2021. But positive as we are, we are assuming a good scenario and couples in love can get married in 2021 in the company of the people they love.
Trouw jij, omdat je écht de liefde met elkaar wilt vieren, dan is trouwen in 2021 het echte “picture perfect” voor jou, want:
Your favourite venue is probably available. Although we see many advantages to getting married in 2021, there will also be plenty of couples who do not dare to take this step after all, or postpone their wedding. If you are going to celebrate love in 2021, there is a good chance that your favourite venue will be available. Maybe it has been cancelled or on your wedding day it will be completely free.
The same goes for your favourite photographer or videographer. With so many postponed weddings, your favourite photographer probably still has a slot in his or her calendar!
If you are getting married in 2021, you have probably already picked your dream dress! In case you haven’t yet, now is your chance. We are pampering our brides in this crazy period during, for example, our Royal Shopping Days. We have also transformed some of our shop-in-shops into extra large fitting rooms, so that you and your entourage can safely enjoy picking out your dream dress without losing that real Koonings experience!
Speaking of that wedding dress; when you get married in 2021, there’s a good chance you’ll celebrate your wedding twice. You might get married in a small party first, or just for the law, for example, and get married later with a larger party. So then you can just wear your wedding dress twice! Enjoy that beautiful dress twice.
Did your dress get dirty the first time you wore it, or did it gain or lose a few pounds in the meantime? No worries! Koonings also wants the bride to shine like never before the second time she wears it. That’s why we can clean and alter your dress at a reasonable price, so that your dream dress will fit your body again. Ask your stylist about the possibilities or ask your questions by phone on 0493 313 220.
The nice thing about getting married in different times than we are used to is that we get more creative. For weddings, this naturally applies too. It also makes weddings more unique and personal.
Do you secretly not like a big party at all? Then getting married in 2021 is the perfect opportunity for you not to either. For example, organise an elaborate lunch for a select company after the ceremony. This way, you create real quality time with your loved ones as well as quality time with your partner, because after lunch you can spend some time together. Perhaps you go on honeymoon or cocoon at home as newly weds, with a luxurious intimate dinner, or with pizza and wedding cake in bed while enjoying your favourite film.
Maybe you are fed up with not being able to organise a big party and don’t want your guests to go home in the afternoon. Then opt for a very elaborate dinner, for example. This way, you will be in each other’s company for a long time and you can enjoy a long after-dinner chat – and let’s face it, the best stories and memories are made during the after-dinner chat.
Would you prefer more guests at your wedding than allowed? Then make it a wedding weekend! For example, from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, you marry “for real” in front of your closest guests and celebrate the rest of the day your way. The next day, you can have another small ceremony in front of another party and celebrate love with this party. The day after, you do the same again with yet another company. Sidenote: Now you can wear your wedding dress for three days! Happy Days!
Surprise your guests who cannot attend or do you decide not to organise a party but want to involve those around you in your wedding? Then create a wedding box. Instead of wedding cake, choose wedding cupcakes and send them to your “guests”. Include a small bottle of champagne and, for example, delicious appetisers. This way, everyone will still be there a bit on your big day.
Getting married in 2021 also has financial advantages and quality over quantity. Because you may not be able to throw as big a party as you would have liked, you save on costs. That way, there might be more budget for that one elaborate dinner, or you might have that little extra for your dream dress. We make picking out your dream dress a party and are happy to help!
Of course, your bridal look starts with the wedding dress and matching accessories, but to complete your look, a beautiful bridal hairstyle and flawless bridal make-up are also essential.
The specialist team at Koonings Beauty & Hairsalon is dedicated to making you shine not only from ear to ear, but also from head to toe. We also work with different types of extensions, so we can create any look you want. By the way, did you know that cutting men’s hair is one of our specialities?
Of course, the fact that Koonings Beauty & Hai is located within the walls of Koonings does not mean that only our brides are welcome! Our salon is open to anyone who likes to pamper themselves, or anyone else, who always wants to walk out with a perfect new cut or who values radiant skin.
Curious? Take a look at our beauty page or let this top team surprise you and make an appointment right away!
I was only seventeen when I got the chance to take over Bridal shop Koonings. Super exciting, but I grabbed the challenge with both hands. And taking over the business also brought another big dream of mine a little closer: designing my own collection!
The first dress I designed all by myself contained countless glitter, pearls and sequins. I was over the moon with the dress, but was especially curious to see what future brides would think of it. I wanted to create something unique and a statement dress for every bride. Fortunately, I did not have to be unsure for long: immediately after the launch of my first own collection, all brides were super enthusiastic. From the moment the dresses hung in our wedding palace, many mouths fell open.
It is a challenge to design dresses every year that today’s brides love to wear. I have years of experience and knowledge in the field of wedding dresses and therefore know very well what brides like. But styles and trends change rapidly, so I have to keep challenging myself to hit the mark every time. That also makes designing extra fun. And occasionally I am the one who sets a trend. I do that by colouring a bit outside the lines. What other collections lack, you find in my own collection. Do you know Kim Kötter’s wedding dress, for example? The glitter stars you see on her dress were not yet known as a fabric for wedding dresses when she was asked to marry her great love Jaap Reesema. However, I was looking for something special and eye-catching. Kim was also overjoyed when I showed her the star motif design. And now, in the current collection, I have also designed a few dresses with that beautiful star fabric. The many different details make each dress unique. Who knows, maybe the star motif will return in my upcoming collection, as it too is getting closer and closer. And the launch of such a new collection remains just as exciting every time as that first one, you understand.
I’ll get back to creating new things soon. I’ll keep you posted!
Dear bride,
You have organised your wedding perfectly down to the last detail. The theme you have chosen is down to the last detail, how beautiful it is going to look.
Have you also thought about the bridal attire of your guests? You obviously don’t want Auntie Nel to show up in her fuchsia pink suit, while the theme of your wedding is earth tones. Don’t get us wrong, everyone can wear what they want at your wedding, but secretly you think it’s important that everything matches perfectly in your wedding photos, including Aunt Nel’s outfit.
Luckily, Koonings has a wide range of clothing for the wedding party and we can work with you to make sure everyone is beautifully matched.
Mother of the bride or groom
Of course you will be the radiant centre of the big day, but your parents will also be in the spotlight. And secretly, it’s nice to know that your parents will be looking tiptop and that your family photos will be picture perfect.
At Koonings, we have an entire department dedicated to the mother of the bride. The outfits range from classic suits to trendy skirts, as well as modern dresses. So you and your mother can pick the perfect outfit in which she feels comfortable and you feel proud.
Bohemian, vintage & split
With these trends, we have modern outfits for the mother of the bride. How about a nice jumpsuit, a leather jacket or and floral dress? The possibilities are endless.
Prinsess & glitter tulle
The classic suits, for example, fit these trends very well; we have them in different colours and types, so there is always something for your mother. Or maybe your mother will parade alongside you in a chic dress and pretty pumps in your princess dress with glitter tulle. You name it, we have it.
It’s what’s underneath that counts.
And secretly it really is. Look, the most important part of your wedding outfit is of course your wedding dress. That is ultimately what everyone sees and what everyone will remember you in.
What not everyone sees you in, but is at least as important, is beautiful and good bridal lingerie. This is not only what your partner will see you in during the wedding night, but you too should feel beautiful and confident in it. Besides, the lingerie will also determine how perfectly your dress comes into its own and will highlight your beautiful figure even more.
So all in all, your bridal lingerie does play an important role. In the all-new accessories department, we also have a nice section for bridal lingerie. Ask your stylist for the best lingerie to suit your beautiful body and dream dress.
Torselet
The torselet is among the most chosen bridal lingerie and is the best foundation for any wedding dress. A torselet corrects your figure at the waist and abdomen and creates an elegant and straight posture.
Body
Bodies also come in different shapes and, of course, sizes. Bodies come in different fabrics, so they will fit nicely under your wedding dress without being visible. If you still want to add a little more sexiness to your smooth body, we also have bodies with a lace trim. Most bodysuits have a low back, making them very suitable for dresses with a low-cut back.
Bra
If you have a dress with a see-through bodice, then it is best to opt for a bra. The bridal bra are generally always strapless, so they can also be perfect under a strapless dress, or a wedding dress with fine straps. Of course, the straps of the bra do get included, so they can be attached, should the need arise. Bras are also often worn in combination with shapewear, to create your most figure. Of course, you can still wear the bra under your normal clothes after your wedding. Secretly quite nice, because this way you get that wedding feeling back a little.
Slips
If you wear a torselet or bra during your wedding, you will naturally pair it with a nice pair of briefs or shapewear. All briefs are made of smooth, thin materials, which are not visible under, for example, your tight-fitting wedding dress. There are also panties in beautiful lace, for a romantic and feminine touch.
Self-adhesive
If you would like to wear bridal lingerie, but your wedding dress does not quite allow this due to, for example, a seep (back) cleavage, we also have self-adhesive bras, and bodies. Again, there are different shapes and sizes in these, but the most new design has adhesive strips just next to your bust, so they are not visible with your beautiful low-cut back.
Shapewear
Would you like to show off your feminine curves even more, or would you rather see your tummy corrected a little more, so that your dress is really all vavavavoom. Then our shapewear is your go-to bridal lingerie. OK, we admit, it’s not very sexy, but wow. How gorgeous you will feel.
The shapewear accentuates your feminine line, right where you want it!
During your fitting appointment, mention that you are also looking for bridal lingerie. Our stylist will look for the perfect bridal lingerie to match your dress and especially your body, so you can be the best version of yourself on your wedding day.
