Koonings Say Yes to the Dress Event
Brides-to-be and fans of ‘Say yes to the dress’ could indulge at Koonings during this event. It was here that the ‘Say yes to the dress event’ was organized.
Bridal Shows
Inspiration could be found at one of the bridal shows, where a large collection of dresses was shown. Many brands passed by including the latest collection of Ramona Koonings Couture. Also to the men was thought of, for them were wedding suits, but also outfits for his friends shown.
OG3NE & Fred van Leer
Spread throughout the day, several artists filled the palace. Singer Natasja Poels, Maaike Jansen and OG3NE treated the audience to a dazzling performance. Of course Fred van Leer was also present. By now no longer a stranger in our wedding palace. Fred comes to us regularly for the recordings of Say Yes to the Dress. Fred gave an exclusive show especially for the Say Yes event visitors. He pulled out all the stops to tell the audience about the do’s and dont’s in fashion. There was a lot of interaction with the audience and that was what made it such a great show. Actor and wedding officiant Dirk Zeelenberg was also present and gave tips to newly engaged couples. And Lonneke Nooteboom gave advice on what to wear when you are invited to a wedding.
Plenty of entertainment outside the palace as well
Outside there was another outdoor terrace that overlooked the main Koonings building beautifully. While enjoying a snack, drink and live music, you could have a quiet chat with your party. There was a horse and real princess carriage available for you to ride around the property.
Bridal run & makeover time
A bridal run was also organized: run as fast as possible in sky-high heels. Of course there were fun prizes to be won. Charlotte Tilbury also gave a master class in which you could have your makeup and hair done. The ladies from The Perfect Wedding Planners were there to give advice on planning your future wedding. Also Nicole Cavallo, the creative director behind the brand Nicole Milano was there to give personal style advice and explain how best to sit and dance with your dress.
