In the historic Kasteel Oost in magical Valkenburg, hidden among the hills and in a picturesque setting, not far from the city center, lies Koonings’ new and additional location: Koonings The Wedding Castle.
Part of the largest bridal empire in the world
With a total area of some 36,000m², the castle, including its park-like gardens, offers countless opportunities to make your wedding dreams come true in the future. Besides a bridal fashion store, our own men’s and children’s fashion store for festive evening wear and a beauty salon, future brides and grooms also have the opportunity to celebrate the most beautiful day of their lives in the glass orangery. This unique and romantic castle annex is the perfect event and wedding venue, combining airy botanic with classic charm. Plus, you’ll benefit from the adjacent hotel and culinary highlights in our restaurants, which are also open to the public.

Fantastic bridal fashion – a special experience
Those looking for a wedding dress will find an extraordinary and unique experience at Koonings The Wedding Castle at the same time. It’s all about experiencing your big day here before the big day. You and your entourage have exclusive use of your own personal space in the castle as a fitting room – special Koonings service is of course included.

October 2024
Grand partial opening of bridal store and restaurant in the wine cellar
In the main building of the castle you will find the bridal store, spread over several private rooms in the castle.
For your appointment, we also offer you the possibility to choose your desired private room, where you and your entourage will search for your wedding dress while enjoying bubbles and snacks.
The main building also houses our own workshop and an elegant and beautiful wedding hall.
Couples can say their wedding vows here with a fantastic view of the green, English, park-like garden.
Guests can also enjoy a culinary experience at restaurant Mon Rêve in the castle’s wine cellar. Enjoy delicious dishes prepared by our chef and let our sommeliers advise you on the delicious wine selection. Weather permitting, you can also enjoy your meals on the castle’s outdoor terrace, overlooking the castle gardens.

Starting in the first half of 2025, you can find what you’re looking for at Koonings The Wedding Castle in the east wing of the castle.
Ballroom
The east wing of the castle also has a room available for your festivities.
2nd half 2025
Hotel
In the western wing of the palace, 12 hotel rooms in elegant baroque style and a luxury hotel suite offer room to dream.
Orangery
A glass orangery is being built between the palace and the east wing on the garden side.
This magnificent garden house not only still houses a restaurant, but in the future will also serve as an event location for your festivities.
Beauty salon
In the east wing of the castle, you can also be pampered in the castle’s beauty salon.

Ramona Koonings is a Brabant wedding dress designer, entrepreneur, TV personality, industry leader and a true family man. When Ramona took over the bridal business at the age of 17, it was soon clear that she was brimming with ambition. Naturally, she was swept up in entrepreneurship and the bridal world. And this entrepreneurship never stops for Ramona. She recently expanded the Koonings empire with a real castle: Koonings The Wedding Castle. Together with her team, Ramona does every day what she loves most: making dreams come true.

Known from TV
Koonings hosts the popular TLC program Say Yes To The Dress Benelux. Together with stylist and presenter Fred van Leer, Ramona Koonings and her team help brides find their ultimate dream dress. Koonings is also a regular wedding dress supplier for the popular RTL 4 program Married At First Sight. Recently they added not one but even two reality series about Koonings, which we will soon be able to share more about.
